Description: This listing is for a rare 19th C figurine, depicting a young African or African American Girl / woman wearing a green dress & holding a Basket. It has a nice dynamic pose, and is an Antique Painted Spelter Sculpture / Statue. It is not signed, but I believe it to be from France - likely Napoleon III era. The hard to find design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor. It is in good condition, with no major damage. Has some natural aging and light wear to the paint, but no major damage. The hand has been re-glued to the basket previously- see photos. It appears to be a vintage repair. May have been repainted at some point in its life.
