My mother tells me that it was purchased in a quaint gallery and the owner told her that the painting was painted by the American painter from Maine, Harrison Bird Brown.Brown moved to Britain in the late 1890s to be with his daughter.Includes what is looks to be its original gilt wood frame.Frame: 14" x 11"Painting on Board: 8.5" x 5.25"
