Description: *** 19th Century Pair of Chinese Cantonese Vases *** Height: 26 cmBase / Foot diameter: 7.5 cmTop / Rim Diameter: 9.5 cm This Item is for a stunning Matched pair of 19th century Chinese Cantonese vases which have been hand painted with the Rose Medallion palette. The vases have gilt decorated Shi-Shi and Salamanders to the top with gilded background and colour flowers to the main body, two main decorated panels of typical Chinese scenes including figures, insects, Animals and Dragons. The vases have a slight difference which if you see the top panels of decoration one has a floor painted and one does not. Condition: Good Antique condition with no signs of serious damage or repair, some wear to gilt decoration areas but this is to be expected with the age of the item, One vase does have a chip but to the underside of the top rim..
