Description: A fantastic Japanese Meiji period Satsuma vase featuring three raised pottery deity figures and a crane amongst a background of further figures and fine bamboo trees. Finished with gilt detailing and decorative patterned sections to the shoulder and towards the base. Height: 19 cm - Diameter: 8 cm Satsuma pottery mark underneath the Shimazu clan ⊕ mark. With restoration to the rim - for some reason a piece that broke has not been restored but I have it loose.
