Description: This sale is for Modutech 2 1/4 inch panel mounting VU meters. These are NEW, never used. They are from old stock. Full disclosure: there are minor abrasions from storage in a bin box on the clear plastic front panel. They do not interfere with the visual display. These meters mount on the front of a panel, and require a 1.5 inch diameter hole. These are not illuminated meters, and there appears to be no way to easily add illumination. Mounting and connection hardware kits are supplied in little plastic bags. They mount by four 6/32 thru-panel screws. These meters were manufactured without internal rectifiers normally used in classic VU meters. They must be added externally. We are supplying appropriate diodes and a circuit diagram illustrating wiring for use with these meters. With these external diodes, they behave exactly like VU meters with the rectifiers inside the meters. These are the meters used on many professional series multi-track tape recorders.
