Description: From personal collection. This is a vintage Soviet Primer Book for the 2nd Grade. The binding is a little loose in the middle, but pages are there and intact. It has a few color plates and B/W illustrations throughout. The paper quality is not high from that era - looks faded, some bent corners on cover, there is no writing or water damage. Contains history, culture, folk stories, poetry, science, etc. I believe this would have been a second grader's schoolbook in 1958 during the time of the USSR. It's still very cool to see what was important to education in 1958. I also have a third and fourth grade primer for sale on eBay. Please see photos to view condition.
