Description: 2 x AMERICAN RED CROSS America RED Beanie Babies w BLUE X WHITE Ears Vintage NWT Two TY Original Beanies from The Beanie Babies Collection. These two Americas are red bears with black button eyes and larger black noses. Each has a blue and a white ear. These are the complimentary pair, one has a blue right ear and a white left ear, white the other has a white on the right and a blue on the left ear. They wear a red, white and blue striped ribbon around their necks and have the USA flag embroidered on their chests. America was released on 29th August 2002 and retired on 8th October 2002. There are five different variations of America: Blue, white with blue left ear; White with a blue right ear; Red with a blue left ear; and, Red with a blue right ear. These were internet exclusives with all proceeds going to American Red Cross. They have no skus on the tags. Their tags read: "100% of Ty's profit from the original purchase of this American Beanie Baby will be donated to the Disaster Relief Fund of the American Red Cross. Together, we can save a life" and "AMERICA In memory of those who lost their lives in the national catastrophe that took place on September 11, 2001. We mourn for them and express our deepest sympathy to their families. God Bless America" The labels have shiny silver security tags and the names America. The inside of each label has printed codes with numbers and letters. It complicated to photograph, but I gave it a try. The back of the labels have “2002 TY INC., OAKBROOK, IL.
