This Visconti comes with the original wooden box, Visconti Fortune Dragon literature/documentation, and a Warranty card. I consider this Visconti Fountain Pen in Mint Condition with it never being inked.The Visconti is known as "The Fortune Dragon" and is made of mottle red and black Ebonite. The shape of the fountain pen is designed based on the "TEMPLE OF HEAVEN" in Beijing. The fountain pen was made with a limited edition of 888 pieces. The clip in the design of a dragon is made of Sterling Silver with a gold wash known as vermeil. The dragon has rubies for eyes. The craving on the cap and barrel displays a Chinese symbol that signifies "Happiness". The engraved pattern and symbols have been filled in with gold leaf.This fountain pen is in mint condition with no nicks, cracks, or repairs - the fountain pen has never been used. The limited edition number is engraved on the back side of the cap, "322 / 888". The cap secures to the barrel every time via threads. This fountain pen measures 6 1/4" capped, 7 3/8" posted, measures 17.26mm in diameter around the cap banding, and weighs 1.31 ounces.The Fortune Dragon Fountain Pen comes with an 18K gold 2-tone medium nib. The nib is marked Visconti with an 18K/750 M. The nib has a medium point measuring .81mm when using digital calipers. The nib has never been inked and wanted to keep it that way for the next owner. These Visconti nibs always perform so smoothly and I see no reason this one shouldn't write smoothly.The fountain pen uses Visconti's patented Power Filler. I have tested the filling unit with water and works perfectly. The beautiful wood case is in perfect condition with no damage or ink staining of the inside material. The Warranty card and literature accompany the pen and are in perfect condition. The Fortune Dragon fountain pen by Visconti is a spectacular writing instrument created to bring the owner good luck and protection promised by the ancient symbol engraved on the pen.
