This Fender ST57-70TX '57 vintage re-issue Stratocaster has a deep vibe that really resonates with us. The contoured alder body is finished in black and is loaded with a trio of killer American made Fender Texas Special pickups. This particular set seems to have a little something special about them and they really deliver some extra bite. We plugged this guitar up to our vintage Deluxe Reverb and were excited about what we heard. The pickups seem to have a bit more bloom and compression than some and really delivered the quintessential pumped Strat tone in spades. The neck is super playable with a comfortable oval profile that measures 0.866 at the 1st fret and 0.957 as we reach the 12th fret. The neck is straight and true and is topped with 21 frets, executed with vintage gauge fret wire. Cosmetically it is in player friendly condition with a few dings and plenty of little scratches on the back. The guitar has just been given the ultimate set-up by our tech and has been freshly strung and is set up for optimal playability. In a world of iconic guitars this is one that holds it's own to make a timeless, indelible impression. This guitar is professionally set up and dialed in for optimal tone and playability. It has low action with no buzzing or dead spots and is an absolute joy to play. It has been deep cleaned and detailed. All guitars will arrive looking and playing great. The frets have been leveled / dressed / polished and the fingerboard was cleaned. (Unfinished Rosewood and Ebony boards get treated with Fret Doctor - a proprietary all natural oil that is the best on the market) It has brand new strings, the action was adjusted, the intonation is spot on and it plays excellent.
