All strings sound flat, and the strings spacing are really small for your fingers. It's more of a novelty item than an actually instrument.100cm -125cm (40-49") : Baby Guzheng This is is made for kids who have smaller hands. The sound is ok. The bass is flat because the bass strings don't have the desired length to keep the pitch steady. The string spacing is small for an adult, but perfect for 4-6 year old kids to start learning. 125cm-155cm (50-61") : Travel Guzheng This size is made for convenient travelling. The sound varys from different makers. A good one can sound as good as a standard size, but a bad one sounds just like a baby guzheng. The string spacing also varys. Some makers make them smaller, and some makers make them just like the standard ones. 160cm+ (>61") : Standard Guzheng This is the standard size for guzheng.
