Description: 3 Vintage Oxford Stoneware USA c. 1940s Pottery mixing bowls Snowflower pattern Description: Offering a set of 3 vintage large serving/mixing/salad bowls from Oxford Stoneware, produced in Ohio in the 1930’s-1950’s. They are in the brown and cream snowflower pattern, with the design hand painted atop the brown glaze. Maker’s Mark: “Oxford Stoneware Made – U.S.A.” Only one bowl has a mark. Dimensions: 9 ¾” diameter. Approximately 3 ¼” tall. Condition: VERY GOOD to GOOD: Shows signs of wear and use commensurate with age. No obvious chips, cracks, scratches. Utensil marks in 2 of the 3 bowls. One bowl has a half-inch chip on the bottom, sitting rim. One bowl has crazing and resulting staining. Please enlarge and examine all photos for a complete condition assessment. Comments: We rescued this at a recent estate sale.
