Description: 3- Very nice vintage Villeroy &Boch Mettlach Ashtrays in excellent condition. No chips or cracks and totally unused. These all are signed on the back of each ashtray "V&B M, MADE IN FRANCE,SAAR ECONOMIC UNION" and this backstamp suggests a manufacture date between 1947 and 1956. Each one has a different hand painted design on the inside surface and they all shine like new. These were for display only and we're well taken care of. Each one measures 4 inches long by 4 inches wide and stands approx 3/4" high. Excellent vintage ashtrays with an interesting history during this period.
