Description: These are 4 original Antique Oak Signed Stickley Side Chairs marked 635 1/2 - Quaint - Grand Rapids,Mi., 3 of the chairs have the original copper name tag on the inside bottom' 1 is missing the original tag, also each are numbered 635 1/2. The seats were recovered some time in the 50s, with a ugly yellow stripped fabric, so I recently covered them with a brown faux leather upholstery for appearance. There were many marks from use over the last 100 years, so I put a fresh finish on the wood, also the cane backs were missing so all 4 chairs have had the cane replaced, they are a dark oak stain, all repairs had to be done. Very heavy and sturdy, each chair weighs about 25 lbs. This is a beautiful original set of 4 Stickley chairs, with Mission oak style and the original barley twist front legs, some minor marks from use and age. They are a pretty nice set , and would blend in well in any craftsman décor I put lots of pictures, so you can see what you are buying. Please ask if you have any other questions.
