These four covers from the 1960s that are all addressed to the Johnson Smith Company, which mailed out a terrific catalog of novelties and gags for decades! As you can see, three of the covers have printed addresses and were likely sent out with catalogs, to make it easy for buyers to place orders. The fourth one has a handwritten address.Check out the accompanying images; you'll see that when Johnson Smith received their mail, they slit open the envelopes on three sides, which likely sped up their order processing time.
