We ship fresh FERTILE eggs, candle every egg RIGHT before packaging (checking for visible cracks, abnormalities, air cell attached and at the top) . We spend a lot of time and effort packing eggs to maximize their chances to get to your destination in good shape: individual bubble wrapping, insulation, even double boxing. We preselected USPS Priority mail with EXPECTED delivery of 1-4 business days to keep the shipment cost low. For the most part, we have had good luck getting eggs to people in good shape and have had decent hatch rates reported back. HOWEVER, once we drop off a package with eggs at a post office, it’s ALL OUTSIDE of our control. NOTE (1) The USPS Priority mail expected delivery dates are NOT guaranteed. If you want guaranteed dates and/or a different mail service, you MUST make arrangements with us in advance. Also NOTE (2) since we can not control what happens to eggs during shipment, and/or in your incubator a hatch rate is NOT guaranteed. According to some data a decent hatch rate for shipped eggs is 50% ON AVERAGE, which means it can be 95% and 5% just as well. In case of a small number, like 6 eggs, it practically means that 0 eggs would hatch in some cases. I short we guarantee that we ship (1) the listed number of eggs of (2) the described breed, (3) packed as good as as we can, (4) shipped with a mail service you paid for, BUT we can NOT guarantee ANYTHING what happens to eggs once they are in possession of a mail service, particularly: (1) duration of shipment, (2) shape they arrive, (3) fertility/hatch rate. Nevertheless if you had a particularly bad hatch with our eggs, contact us, describe your case and, if we have eggs available, we would be happy to figure out a deal for you to let you try again.
