The oval shape measures near 16 inches in length and 9 inches in width, with a height of 2 to 2.5 inches. Beautiful floral pattern with gold on white body, with a french blue scalloped edge design. The backstamp green Anchor underglaze mark and the blue over glaze mark indicate that this plate was made and decorated by the Alfred Lanternier Company around 1895 and before 1915 in Limoges, France . Lovely condition with no crazing or cracks, minimal handling, appears hardly used at all. * Exception light divot on bottom foot print rim, can be sanded flush, some light wear along blue top rim. The gold GILDED edge some gilt loss, expected of a piece this old. platter is more of a french blue, with pinks and gilt gold. Apology my camera shoots dark. A.
