Purchased in 2000 / Kurosawa Musical Instruments. This is a Martin 00-17 (vintage) made in 1951. This is a tasteful 00-17 that has been played for over 70 years. The sweet and soothing sound feel that is loved by bluesmen and singer-songwriters is very attractive. At the time, all-mahogany models were inexpensive, so decoration was kept to a minimum, giving it a simple and calm appearance. Mahogany body, Jacaranda fingerboard, straight Jacaranda bridge, pickguard. The neck has a grip that anyone will find familiar. The pegs have been replaced and are now Martin open-back types.
