Description: Addy's Songbird and Sweets was introduced to Addy's Collection in 1994 and is associated with the book Happy Birthday Addy. INCLUDED in this auction: Black metal bird cage with door and hanging loop.Yellow (foam & feather?) Sunny bird who is glued to wooden perch. On his swing, any slight movement makes him move- he's adorable - it was hard to get him to stop to take a picture :) Black metal candy tin with blue flowers & green leaves on lid - 1-3/4" X 1-3/4" - see photos.6 pretend benne candies: this is an early edition set as evidenced by the separate candies. A tiny note inside the box from dear friend M'dear dated 1865. This is the only Songbird & Sweets I had in storage. I can't see any flaws except the shelf wear of the burgundy box and the candy tin not having the protective plastic film on it.
