Admiral Henry Wilson U.S Commander Atlantic Fleet, Superintendent Naval Academy

Description: Admiral Henry B. Wilson [1861 1954] was an officer of the United States Navy who began his naval career in in 1881 and was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and World War I. In 1916 he served as the first commanding officer of the battleship Pennsylvania and commanded the Atlantic Fleet's patrol forces during World War I. Following the war, he was appointed as the Commander-in-Chief U.S Atlantic Fleet and later as the Battle Fleet commander. In 1921 Admiral Wilson was appointed as Superintendent of the Naval Academy and served until his retirement in 1925. Listed for auction is the autograph of Admiral Henry B. Wilson signed on a card. The autograph is signed ''Henry B. Wilson'' in black fountain pen and the card measures 5.00 x 3.00 inches. The card has trivial toning/soiling otherwise it is in fine condition. The autograph is authentic and is a nice example of this noted U.S naval commander.
