The three novels included in this volume are: (1) APPOINTMENT WITH DEATH (2) PERIL AT END HOUSE (3) SAD CYPRESS This hardcover book is in Good condition with a square spine, a sewn binding, and clean, unmarked pages. ***NOTE: The front hinge is SLIGHTLY cracked but NOT broken. The front cover remains firmly attached. The dark-red hardcover boards have minor wear at the spine ends and corners but no significant defects. The black printing on the spine, is clean and unchipped. The boards show no dents, tears, scuffs, or stains. There are no loose, torn, or missing pages, and no writing, marking, or underlining anywhere in the book. The unclipped dust-jacket is likewise in Good (or perhaps Good-minus) condition with moderate wear and chipping at the top of the spine and significant chipping at the bottom. There is a long closed tear along the left edge of the spine panel and two small (1/2”) closed tears to the top edge of the front jacket panel. Several small pieces of clear tape have been applied to the inside of the jacket to reinforce the spine ends and the ends of the jacket creases, and to seal the closed tears. There is NO tape on the outside of the jacket. The dust-jacket is now covered in Mylar to prevent further damage. All photos except the last one, however, were taken before the Mylar was applied.
