Description: This listing is for 15 Aji Pineapple pepper seeds. These seeds were collected from Aji Pineapple peppers that were grown to full maturity in my garden during the summer of 2022. The seeds were then dried, packaged, and ready to send to you. Aji peppers thrive in warm to hot weather (65-85 degrees F) during the daytime hours but can be grown indoors with adequate light. Like all peppers, aji pineapple peppers do well in an area with good morning sun and in soil with a pH level around 5 to 6 (slightly acidic). The heat level of Aji Pineapple peppers is fairly mild. They are hotter than jalapenos but not as spicy as habaneros. Their Scoville Heat Units (SHU) is around 20,000 SHU. When growing hot peppers, it is recommended that you use a heating mat to increase germination rates. Also, wear gloves whenever handling the seeds or fruit can prevent irritation to your skin. These plants have been very prolific. Each has produced 100s of peppers. The peppers begin green and mature to a nice bright yellow color.
