Description: Charming vintage 1950s day dress created by the Alex Colman of California label of a soft cotton fabric in a pretty garden / kitchen themed novelty print in pastel pinks and greens against a cream coloured background. The sleeveless dress has a tailored bodice with a small collar, darted bust, button front opening, nipped waist and a full cut skirt with pleat detail below the waist & a knee length hem. The dress is unlined. MEASUREMENTS: No size labels ... the bust measures 36 inches (and therefore fits a size 32 - 34 bust best), the waist measures 26 inches and the hips are free. There is no stretch to the fabric - as always, remember to leave room for you when using these measurements to determine fit. The dress is 37 inches in length and there is an additional 5 inches that can be let down in the hem. CONDITION: Very slight wear ... overall, very good to excellent condition.
