Description: Hear Me Out I love this ****ing game, and always felt that it got unfairly overlooked, due to how late in the PS1's lifecycle it was released. I made a lot of nastily violent memories inside of its dim and drab world, though I was never good enough to fully finish it (the furthest I got was the security level that goes on forever and has very little ammo or health). Resurrection's probably caused me to have a few bedtime nightmares over the years, but I forgive it for that, because Alien games are supposed to be scary, not cringey and lame like Gearbox's Colonial Marines. Randy Pitchford's ***** *** really got me on that one; I'm still ****ed that I wasted a day of unpaid timeoff playing through that trash campaign. I doubt that any first-timer could beat this game in a single playthrough. But even in defeat after repeated defeat, you should at least come to appreciate its anxious, panic-inducing atmosphere, and what its small development team was able to accomplish on some extremely underpowered hardware. IMO Resurrection is one of the top 5 alltime Alien games (AVP2 on the PC remains king), and it's become one of my favorite PS1 games, even though the controls aren't the best, the difficulty level is very high, and it could traumatize you if you're easily scared. My Reason For Selling Given the recent price hike, caused by the discovery of a cheat code that I cannot detail on eBay, I am making the business decision to send this baby to a new home. Condition History I originally bought my copy used from a local game shop (I live in Tennessee) in the early 2000s, and have been its only owner since then. The game has always worked for me, and there is just a little dust and a few minor scratches on it. It still runs without any issues on my slim model PS2. It comes in the original case, with all of the original instructions and inserts included. Shipping & Payment I will not ship outside of the continental United States, because I've tried doing it before, and that **** is just too much of a hassle. But within 24 hours of receiving a cleared payment from a mainland U.S. address, I will drive down to my local UPS Store and mail this game first class with online tracking and a fragile handling warning. I will also tape some paper padding around the game to help prevent any damage, because jewel cases have a long history of being treated poorly by mailmen/mailwomen and frequently breaking during transit. I will do all I can on my end to prevent anything from breaking.
