Reverse: in the center are crossed ancient keys (part of the coat of arms of Riga) and a German cross above them[apparently meaning that Germany received the keys to the city and will now rule it], branches with laurel leaves in a circle.Metal, patina. Diameter 45 mm. Weight 35 gr. The medal comes complete with a paper pocket as issued [and sold] in 1917.Very Fine condition, without damages and defects, original age patina, traces of time (see pictures).
