It is simple, elegant, and classic all rolled into one. DESCRIPTION Nice antique console table. Beautiful Spanish Revival style with the bulbous Jacobean legs. Simple detail around the skirt and bottom stretcher. Ribbon mahogany top. Has a butterfly leaf that stores under the table top when not used. This was made in America during the 1920's or 1930's. It was the type of furniture that was designed to go into the Spanish style homes that were so popular at this time period. Production of almost all furniture was stopped in the US during WWII. When the war was over different styles as well as more mass production techniques had come into play. Plus it was made as a library table. Few homes had a separate room for a library.Was restored many years ago and has subsequent wear and use. Previous owner believed in oiling the furniture regularly. It has the normal quantity of repairs and wear / use / age shrinkage / damage that comes with significant age. Still a very usable item with an true old world beautiful design feel. Please look carefully at the pictures for condition issues as well as read the condition report. (Priced accordingly.)Height is about 30 1/4 in. Length at the widest point is about 60 inch. Depth is about 21 3/4 inch without the leaf. The leaf is about 13 1/2 inch. Depth with the leaf is about 35 1/4 inch.Check out our other items! CONDITION The table does show use and wear and is priced accordingly. It is definitely beautiful, usable, and sturdy. But, you may choose to restore the finish again in the future. The pictures were hard to show the wear. Has variation in the top finish with scratches and in the sheen.
