Description: Ancient Indus Valley Ancient hand made pottery c3500 BC – 2500 BC. These ancient terra-cotta pieces have chips and nicks and are not perfectly cleaned but the artwork shows clearly. Wide mouth, narrow base bowl with horizontal stripe and unique scallop and line design. Size 2 3/8"h x 5" Harappan objects, including impressive and numerous decorative objects and weapons, are found. It flourished in the basins of the Indus River, which flows through the length of Pakistan, and along a system of perennial, mostly monsoon-fed, rivers that once coursed in the vicinity of the seasonal Ghaggar-Hakra river in northwest India and eastern Pakistan.
