An innovative fashion designer and notorious socialite, Halston was a close friend of Warhol’s. Halston’s eponymous brand grew rapidly, expanding from hats to women’s fashion to cosmetics and beyond. In 1982, Warhol created a series of four screenprints depicting various facets of the brand. This poster promotes Halston cosmetics, with perfumes and makeup strewn across the layout.
