Description: This is an Ansonia mantel clock in a metal, probably spelter/white metal, case with a small 8 day time and strike movement. The finish shows loss and the bezel is missing. The pendulum bob is probably not correct but it came with the clock and may be adjusted to regulate the clock properly. The dial is in nice condition and if this clock was in the right hands, it would make a rewarding project. The clock was wound and the springs hold. Power transfers to the escapement and when the hands are cycled it chimes. It’s not tested and being sold as found, for restoration. It’s a nice little clock and it’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!
