Description: This is an antique Elgin FAHYS Monarch 0, 15J, Case #539332, Movement #3209221 gold-filled pocket watch. It features a beautiful yellow gold case and elegant Roman numerals on the white dial. The mechanical (manual) movement has 15 jewels and a full hunter closure. The watch was manufactured in 1889. Condition: Needs repair. It is completely intact and seems to work sporadically. I wind it up and hear it tick and the hands moved a little but then it stopped. Wound again, same thing. Snaps closed completely. Still shiny with very little wear. Check out all the photos to see up close pictures. Items are guaranteed to be authentic and in the condition described.
