I believe this one is on that range closer to $1500, but happy with the $1000 and shipping.None are as nice or have as many parts!Also, as I stated in the condition description, if you are buying know it's as-is it's a desk or shelf sitter.If you are buying this because you are a professional or armature scientist etc. and you want to discover the next cure for a disease or look at itty bitty items, buy another microscope.
