Antique American Switchblades - Identification & Value guide. Signed by Author

Description: I purchased this Switchblade knife identification and value guide from the author at a Wisconsin knife show back in 2008. He signed my book and I took a photo of the author and the photo will be included with the book. At the time the book was expensive at $24.99. A friend of mine who also collected knives told me that "knife books do not cost they PAY". This is so true because if you are a knife collector, knowledge of knives is very valuable. You may see a knife in a book and get an idea of its worth and then see it displayed for $20.00 at a gun or knife show and because you saw it in a reference book you know it is worth $150-200. This book was really done professionally by the author as the color photos are great and the values are where they should be. The book is 8 1/4 X 11 inches and is about 1/4 inch thick with 160 pages. Because the book is mostly on good paper stock for color photos the book is fairly heavy. When the buyer receives this book you will think it came right off a book dealers shelf as it is like new. Lots of great information regarding the companies that made or make switchblade knives and just about everything any knife collector needs to know about them. I am going to be age 87 in a few months and need to part with most of my stuff. This book is obviously not rare, but it is being listed between $45 and $99 and some are showing more wear than mine, which is near perfect. I was careful with taking the photos as the binding is still like new and very strong. Let the photos be the description of this book. I use Media Mail so the buyer and seller have tracking. I will not sell or ship this book to buyers who live outside the USA.
