Antique bisque, 5" German shoulderhead undressed grandfather dollhouse doll

Description: 1890's dollhouse grandfather doll.... Distinguished, 5" tall, undressed, antique German bisque shoulderhead, dignified elderly, male dollhouse figure for your dollhouse family (shown in first 4 photos). He has molded and painted grey hair with incised comb marks, balding top and thick grey sideburns, matching grey eyebrows, deeply molded features with handsome, deep set blue eyes, molded eyelids, nice mouth and furrowed brow to denote his advanced age, excellent coloring. He has detailed bisque lower limbs with finely detailed hands, tall black molded boots with heels and original pink linen cloth body with sawdust filling. He is in excellent overall condition with no damages, no repairs, no holes, fading or stains. He will need an outfit as he has never been dressed. Many of these early dolls were sold from a card where they could be selected and dressed later by the purchaser. Very good quality little doll, circa 1890, and a real treasure as these earlier dolls are quite difficult to find! Other dolls, puppy dogs & bird cage (shown) are not included and each will be listed separately.
