Description: Antique Georgian hand painted Adams cabinet. It measures 28 1/4" high, 32 3/4" wide, and 8 1/2" deep. This cabinet is painted with dancing cherubs on the top and sides surrounded by roses. It has a shield shaped beveled mirror with recessed corners painted with flowers. Two glass lattice front and mirrored back cabinets with painted and scalloped top borders. The flat center panel has a painted woman's profile. Three drawers with garlands of flowers on the fronts and sides of the drawers. Three original bone knobs. The large center drawer has a scalloped divider. The back is completely finished, and does not have to be against a wall. The only damage is to the tops of the urns on each side of the top cherub that have broken off long ago. This cabinet is from the early 1800's. I have had it over 35 years. The detail of the painting is incredible. The last picture shows it on top of an Empire dresser I have listed in another auction. This auction is for the Georgian top cabinet. They were bought separately and I placed them together. Thanks for viewing. No Shipping. Pick up only.
