Description: ANTIQUE CIVIL WAR SOCKET BAYONET MARKED U.S. Appears to be for the Springfield Rifle. Has a Blue-ish coloring. Measures approximately: 21" long OVERALL 18.25" long BLADE TO CURVE 3" long SOCKET Condition: NO SCABBARD. Nice condition. Darkening, but very little rust noted (bend has the most rust). Minor pitting on Blade, considering age. Bayonet has NOT been cleaned. Like all Antiques, may still need cleaning and/or servicing. Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as "described". Item sold "AS-IS"--see photos. Please ask questions prior to bidding. NO REFUNDS.
