Description: For your consideration is this antique titled and wooden tray. Six antique Delft titles in a wooden carrying tray with handles. Each tile measures just over 5 1/4". They are all handpainted and feature different scenes. They are absolutely amazing and probably quite old. From my research, tiles such as these can date from the mid-to-late 1700s to the mid-1800s. At some point, these were grouted into the tray. It is uneven, perhaps from the workmanship, time and wear, or both. Some of the tiles themselves are also uneven, further enhancing their rustic, antique appearance. The wood is worn and could use polishing. The upper left corner was damaged at some point, as seen in the pictures. However, I think this is a remarkable find and would be a lovely, unique addition to the home. The tray is heavy, weighing 5 pounds and 13 ounces. It is solid and sturdy, and none of the tiles are loose. It measures 11 7/8" tall, about 17" in length, and 2 1/2" in width, including the handles. Please see the photos, feel free to ask questions, and thank you for looking.
