Description: Huge square, high standard compote with cover. 12" tall x 7.5" square. Foot is decorated with a shell and leaf design. Certainly, this was made before World War I, and would turn amethyst if left in the sun. Two of the pictures are close-ups of the chips. They are on both the bottom and cover.
