Description: Antique forged iron stake which I estimate dates to early-1900s. Not sure what this stake would have been used for. Possibly to hold down ropes for an old circus tent or something similar. I have not found another one like it listed anywhere. Stake is solid throughout and ready for display or actual use. Hole on pointed end for easy wall hanging. Good overall condition with surface rust as shown. Has a really nice aged patina!! Head of the stake shows its been driven into the ground by a sledge hammer numerous times which really adds to its character. The stories this item could tell!! Measures about 12” long and 1.5” wide along the shaft. See pics for more details.PLEASE VISIT MY EBAY STORE: (Click Below)Antiques and Rustic Charms | eBay Stores
