Description: Beautiful 19th century English antique gold brooch with a light red ruby surrounded by 6 small rose cut diamonds.The brooch has hallmarks for maker "C&C" and then marked "9c 375" and an anchor for Birmingham and letter date "x".Measures 1-3/4" wide. Has C hook pin clasp.Weighs 3.1 grams.Around the top and bottom edge of brooch there are gold beads, and 2 of these beads are missing at center of one edge. Not easily noticed and otherwise all very good.
