Antique French Art Nouveau Floral Kilim Cotton Fabric Valance ~ Red Sage Olive

Description: An absolutely stunning larger antique Art Nouveau period French cotton valance/pelmet. Gorgeous large floral design with kilim rug type accents in the pattern. Marvelous design. Beautiful hues, still so rich. Red, deep pink, olive, ochre yellow &. browns on a sage type ground. Beautiful bobble trim with wonderful elements and construction. All from a chateau clearing in the Sainte Maure de Touraine, the Touraine Province of Touraine/Indre et Loire area.A fabulous Art Nouveau period French textile find. Appears in overall good order and strong for it's age & former light use Colors are magnificent. I noted some small specks and a couple of random age spots. In person, hidden fairly well by the ground color. A few missing bobbles as shown in my photos.
