Description: Being offered is a wonderful Art Nouveau, Balloon form, French silk hand fan. The antique French hand fan is in very good condition. (see photos) The color is a vibrant blue. The engraving on the supports is Gold. In the first photos it looks dark, but it is gold. See the second and last photos.The supports (sticks) in the fan, do not show through the fabric of the fan. They did in the first and last photos, because of the background. The front of the fan has no flaws, that I can detect.There is some loss of the silk backing.(see photos) A great display piece. A nice addition to any antique hand fan collection.
