Description: Antique French Montereau Louis Lebeuf Black Transferware Plate Children 8 3/16" Here is a very attractive antique French Montereau Louis Lebeuf black transferware plate featuring a design of children and possibly a teacher. It measures about 8 3/16" in diameter. It is in good condition overall with no chips or cracks. There are a couple tiny bits of adherent ceramic on back side, done in the making. Plate has had a good deal of use and there are many utensil marks visible on close examination. There are scratches to underside from tabletop contact. There are a couple minor spots of discoloration on underside. There is no crazing. Still very nice but clearly not "mint". Please see photos.
