Description: Antique German Beer Stein Skull Crossbones "Beer is Poison" Rare 7.5" Tall Antique, shows some wear and pewter top is loose. Antique cut circles and polished on the glass stein, hand made applied handle. Pewter lid is loose. There is a small chip behind the skull on the porcelain lid. This is shown in the last photo. The German wording on the top roughly translates to Beer is poison. The one under the lid I am not sure of, there are different translations of it online., appears to mean keep drinking.
