Description: Here is a 3 piece set of bed linens with the Italian words Buon Riposo hand embroidered on all three pieces. It is gorgeous work. The pillowcases are shown first. They measure 19" wide x 30" long (standard size) and the embroidered words section is 12" side to side by 6" up and down. They have gorgeous cutwork and a double row pf drawn threads edging. (see photos) There are some minor light stains on the pillowcases. The sheet is 90" wide by 98" long and I think it is a full size. You place the sheet on the bed with the finished side down and then fold down the top section that has the drawn threads and embroidery work on it. The top section with the gorgeous work is approximately 23" up and down. The only issues with the top sheet is there is some blue dye on it that is hard to see and a black mark on an edge. This set is a natural color, not white, and the embroidery matches it. These are made of a strong fabric that I think is cotton but could be linen or a linen blend. These are either antique or vintage. I have not soaked this set. It is as I found it. Please magnify photos and ask me any questions you may have. Absolutely gorgeous pieces!Thanks!
