Description: Antique Yamatoku Hand Painted Japan enamel painted plate with wicker border.Plate measures 8" across. There is a hand weaved border around the plate made of wicker.There is some missing but not empty spaces. The painting is beautiful with a dark blue and yellow background and a beatiful mostly orange bird with colorful feather sitting on cherry blossom tree, lots of cherry blossoms and other flowers on the plate. The back is marked Hand Painted Japan, it also has a 6 star mark with a large S in the center. I have no idea what maker that is.See all photos and feel free to ask questions.
