Description: This is a classic wooden ice box from the early 1900's that has been lovingly refinished and transformed into a beautiful home bar or storage cabinet. It is a great combination of vintage charm and sophisticated functionality! The quarter-sawn oak exterior has been carefully sanded and stained with a warm brown finish on all sides, then sealed with satin polyurethane to reveal the beauty of the wood grain. All joints have been reinforced and the cabinet is very sturdy and secure. The original tin lining has been left on the inside of the doors, but removed on the inside walls to make sure everything inside was clean and safe from any mold or water damage. The added mid-level and bottom shelves are made of Sapele wood -- a hardwood native to Africa -- very durable and similar to mahogany. The original brass hardware has been cleaned and left with a slight patina to maintain the piece’s vintage look. The inside of the bar is lit by a hidden multi-color light strip with a remote control to change colors and brightness. The light strip needs to be plugged into an outlet. The colors are fun and range from reds to yellow to blues to white. It's a great way to show off all your beautiful bottles and barware! The cabinet is compact enough to fit into smaller spaces, but large enough to give you plenty of storage. The top is beautiful but you can add a tray or piece of marble to make it a waterproof serving surface.Measurements:Height: 47 inches, Width: 30 inches, Depth: 19 inchesDoor sizes: Left: 12" wide x 35" tall, Right top: 12 " wide x 19" tall, Right bottom: 12" wide x 11" tall.Free local pickup is available in Denver.
