Description: If you love very primitive Americana antiques and olde architectural pieces you will adore this wonderful flag holder that I found in Ohio many years ago. It's fresh to market here for you. I have enjoyed it in my collection of patriotic antiques for a very long time displayed on a summer porch and in the winters for the holidays where it's graced many a farm table top along with fresh greenery and little snowy twinkle lights. You may prefer to just use it in the summer months for those holidays but I enjoyed it in all seasons. Please study the pics that were taken outside in natural daylight with the flags waving in the wind for more details and you will see the base is a sweet worn dry attic finish chunky antique newel post finial with a round ball top. It measures about 4 x 4 inches across the bottom and is about 10.5 inches tall without the flags. The flags are large ones that measure about 7 x 10 on the fabric part and the sticks are about 18 inches tall. It definitely has some wear from many years gone by and I left it as found because I love the old dry weathered wood patina just as you see it but you could always paint it your way and maybe add some stars or other enhancements if you so desire. The flags are fresh ones that have not been in the elements so they are just like brand new for you. It's MUCH better in person than the pics could ever show you too. If you are a dealer that does shows and you need a good piece to show your pride for the American country antiques you sell this would be wonderful for that too. :) You get the base and the 5 Betsy Ross thirteen star colonial flags you see in the pics.
