Description: Quite rare early map "Map of Gippsland The South Eastern Division of Phillipsland" c1847 "Fr. Schenck Lith. Edinburgh". Map is in overall good condition, there is a separation along center line original fold, not completely separated but the majority of seam is separated, several pieces of old tape on reverse of original fold line, but not appearing to show through to front. Photos are more accurate as to tone of paper, which is qutie a bit lighter than scan appears, very nice map with no other copies seeming to be for sale online as far as I can see, there was sold copy at a rare map dealers website. Only copies seemingly available in Libraries. Original antique map guaranteed. Please email with any questions. Map measures approx. 16.5x13".
