Description: Item under consideration is an Antique(1892-1909) 10 5/8 inch Victorian, Handled, Pastry Serving Plate, fabricated using the 'icicle mold’, Mold #7. Featuring a central '3 Pink Roses' design positioned on a tan background with a glossy glaze finish manufactured by RS Prussia previously located in Germany. Plate design consist of six 3 inch decorated wedge-shaped segments in a brown/tan color, each extending from the rim to the base (photos # 1, 2 & 8). At the top (rim) of each segment is an embossed design trimmed in gold (photos # 1, 2, & 8) ). Plate was made using the 'icicle mold’, mold# 7, with open handles, and scalloped border containing embossed vertical stripes(icicles) extending 2 inches down from the border with a gilt gold trim. There are 3 pink roses with accompanying green foliage positioned in the center of the plate ( photos # 1, 2, 7, & 9) with a matte finish. There is a red star with green wreath mark on back of plate (photos # 10 & 11) signifying a production period from 1892 thru 1909. Dimensions: Height- 1 1/4 inch. Diameter across rim, including handles- 10 9/16 inch. Diameter across base- 6 1/4 inch. Weight- 15.2 ounces.
