Description: Russian porcelain dish from the Service of Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich made by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, period of Nicholas I. decorated with a finely painted cartouches enclosing animals, fruits and flowers on alternating blue & magenta grounds. The reverse with the blue underglaze mark of Nicholas I. Lightly to moderate rubbed gold. All painting in very good condition. No visible damages or restoration. There is may be very tiny crack on the handle. Overall very good antique condition of significantly rare example of the dish from the service that almost impossible to find in any Russian museums.
