Description: This antique Samson folding card table is made by Shwayder Bros. Inc. of Detroit, Michigan. This company brand later changed to Samsonite. I believe it dates to the 1940's. The size is 30" x 30" by 26" high. The top features a checkerboard/chess design. The table features a wooden frame and steel folding legs, all which seem to be fairly tight locking. The table has seen its share of dings and scrapes as you can see in the photos. There is also a fair amount of wear on the edges which comes from years of being stored on those same edges. A great used patina. It would make a great display piece for antiques or crafts. It can also be used for its original purpose....game night in the parlor. Please check the photos as they are part of the description. Please email with any questions you might have.
